demolition project at washington and wabash

our work

OPENED IN 1896, THE HISTORIC TRAIN STATION AT WASHINGTON AND WABASH WAS REMOVED IN ORDER TO BUILD A LOOP SUPERSTATION FOR THE CTA ELEVATED TRAINS.

Pedestrians, noise, and train traffic had to be taken into consideration for the Washington and Wabash Demolition project. Also, certain parts of the station were saved for historical purposes. Again a good plan along with experienced personnel completed the 1st phase of the work in a timely fashion without incident.
